All our methods prove the effectiveness of distance learning and can be summed up in three words: Close to You. They strike a balance:
We work according to the state standard of general secondary education.
Senior online school (grades 10–11)
AP School: we prove that online education is effective, and NMT/ZNO is not a problem if you prepare correctly. We assert this based on our experience in preparing for international exams.
We teach according to the principles of NUS.
Teaching methods at AP School (grades 10–11)
Between online and offline formats.
We teach in a distance format that is as similar as possible to traditional teaching, only more perfect.
Between play and discipline.
Practical training, project tasks, gamification – game-based learning, associative techniques, elements of mnemonics, engaging different types of student memory, and more.
Between friend and mentor.
Close to You means that learning should not be a formality, and teachers at our school embody balance.

Frequently asked questions about distance learning in grades 10–11 online
How are online lessons conducted in upper grades?
We conduct classes in our Close to You format. These are non-standard lessons — we prefer an interactive teaching style, advanced methods of presenting information using visual effects, and practicing knowledge in the form of games. Everything takes place online, but it is more effective than offline.
Do you help students prepare for admission?
Yes, our school’s program includes online preparation for admission for high school students to Ukrainian higher education institutions with preparation for the NMT and for admission to institutions abroad, along with preparation for international exams. Students also have the opportunity to prepare separately from the main program.
They can prepare in groups or individually with a teacher, and we have separate offers for this: preparation for exams only and comprehensive preparation for admission abroad.
Is an online school suitable for graduating classes?
Yes, a well-organized and well-designed online format is as effective or even more effective in teaching than offline. It is important to understand that it is not the format that is important here, but the qualifications of the teaching staff, the quality of the materials, the methods, the relevance and relevance of the program, and compliance with the accepted state standard of education. And online becomes even more effective when graduation and entrance exams are approaching and the student does not have enough time to visit several tutors.
Is it possible to choose specialized subjects?
Yes, specialized education is available at our lyceum in the final grades. We help students choose a specialty and direction of higher education, but if a high school student has already made their own choice, we recommend that they consult with us about the prospects in their field. Then it is much easier to choose specialized subjects.
What is the format of the final tests and exams?
We conduct knowledge tests in an online testing environment, i.e., in the same way as the NMT and some international exams are conducted. Our tests are as similar to them as possible. We also assign a teacher to monitor that students comply with all requirements: do not search for information online, do not use hints.
How is student knowledge assessed in upper grades?
Grades are given for classwork, independent work, homework, and project assignments, and we also evaluate tests and practical work in integrated subjects. Assessment is based on a 12-point scale.
